Achievements
- Sadau Asom Gramya Puthibharal Santha, Nagaon, Assam is rendering an outstanding service for the upliftment of women & child, older person, disabled children, youth & teenager and weaker sections of the society performing various welfare schemes with the aegis of State, Central Govt. and other voluntary agencies. The Santha is able to get “National Youth Award in 1997-98 from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Youth affairs & Sports Govt. of India for their outstanding and exemplary service to the society on 12th January /1999. On behalf of the Santha the General Secretary Sri Balladev Sarmah received the award from the honorable former Prime Minister Sri. Atal Bihari Bajpayee at K.D Singh Babu Stadium of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh . The award is not only a great honor to the Santha but also a great encouragement to the workers of the organization.
- The Santha is awarded by children confederation of NGOs of rural India in 2008 in New Delhi. This award is presented by Justice Mr. Shushil Harkuli of Allahabad high court and chairperson of CNRI Mohan Dharia.
- General Secretary of the Santha Sri Balladev Sarmah is awarded Swarna Puraskar for working towards the betterment of the society and its development in 1999 by National Institute of Sports, Culture & Development, New Delhi.
- General Secretary of the Santha Sri Balladev Sarmah is awarded “Karmamitra” award by Asom Sanskritik Mahasabha. This award is presented by former governor of Assam Sjt. J.B. Patnayak, Guwahati in 2011
- The General Secretary Sri Balladev Sarmah of the organized is awarded “Distinguished Educator” on occasion of National Teachers Day 2016. This award awarded by Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalaya. This award is presented by Professor Shiv Kr. Tripathi, Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalaya.
