About

Objectives of The Organization

The organization is to improve the condition of the rural libraries and rural people through the every rural library in Assam and increase the number of readers in rural and backward Society.

Propagate the library services in Assam through conference, seminar, book-exhibition, training etc.

  • Make formal way for the progress of the children and women.
  • Regularly distributing Books and financial assistance to village libraries and & Poor students.
  • Provide legal instruction and proposal to the government for formulation of a library Act by State Govt. for the improvement and preservation of the rural libraries.

The necessary step will be taken for the welfare of women and children, weaker section of the society, improvement of local resource. Establishment of local industries welfare of handicapped persons, health education drugs and prohibition, improve the communal harmony disaster management.

What We Do

Sadau Asom Gramya Puthibharal Santha (SAGPS), Nagaon, Assam is rendering an outstanding service for the upliftment of women & child, older person, disabled children, youth & teenager and weaker sections of the society performing various welfare schemes with the aegis of State, Central Govt. and other voluntary agencies.

SAINT BINUAJI SENIOR CITIZEN HOME

This programme has covered the Senior Citizens who are unable to stay in their own houses due to family burden, family dispute, lack of food, maintenance of good health properly and deprivation of the society etc

Nabajiban Children Home

The Nabajiban Children Home under Assam State Child Protection Society sponsored by Ministry of Women & Child Development, Govt. of India for special need children since 2016-17 where 49 Nos. children are benefitted.
